The Rocky Ford City Council is composed of seven elected members who diligently serve the community. Council members are elected to staggered 4-year terms, ensuring that half of the Council is refreshed every two years. This system is structured with two representatives elected from each of the City's three wards, in addition to one Mayor who also serves a 2-year term. The Mayor has the opportunity to be re-elected for up to three consecutive terms, and the conclusion of these terms takes place on November 28th.
The dedicated members of the Rocky Ford City Council willingly and selflessly devote their time and expertise to serve on the board, demonstrating a commitment to public service that extends beyond monetary considerations. These esteemed council members do not receive any form of compensation for their vital contributions to the community.
City of Rocky Ford is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, City of Rocky Ford
