Invitation to Bid – 2026 Asphalt Street Improvement Projects

The City of Rocky Ford is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the completion of asphalt street improvement projects at multiple locations throughout the City. These roadway segments have experienced surface deterioration, cracking, and age-related wear, requiring asphalt replacement and rehabilitation to restore roadway integrity, improve driving conditions, and extend the service life of the City's transportation infrastructure.

The project consists of asphalt improvements at the following locations:

• S. 18th Street & Lori Lane – approximately 21,806 square feet
• S. 15th Street (Washington to Pine) – approximately 15,708 square feet
• S. 4th Street (Locust Street north to the Railroad Tracks) – approximately 52,540 square feet

The total estimated project area is 90,054 square feet. Quantities are estimates only, and contractors are responsible for verifying field conditions and quantities prior to submitting a bid.

Sealed bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 2, 2026, at City Hall, 203 South Main Street, Rocky Ford, CO 81067, Attention: Stacey Milenski, City Manager. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked “2026 Asphalt Street Improvement Projects – Sealed Bid.” Late submissions will not be accepted.

The City intends to award the contract(s) to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder in accordance with applicable City purchasing requirements and reserves the right to award one, multiple, or all project locations as deemed in the best interest of the City.
