City of Rocky Ford Notice: Implementation of Stage Two Water Restrictions

Dear Residents and Businesses,

The City of Rocky Ford is implementing Stage Two Water Restrictions effective July 27, 2026, due to increased water demand and the need to protect our community's water resources.

Recent conditions have placed additional stress on our water system, making conservation efforts necessary to ensure a reliable water supply for essential residential, commercial, agricultural, and public safety needs. By taking proactive measures now, we can help maintain adequate water reserves and avoid more severe restrictions in the future.

Under Stage Two Water Restrictions, residents and businessess will only be allowed to water two days a week. Even numbered addresses can water: Wednesdays and Sundays. Odd numbered addresses can water: Tuesdays and Saturdays. 

Watering is only allowed between: 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 am.

Water conservation is a community responsibility, and every effort makes a difference. The City appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all residents as we work together to safeguard our water resources during this period.

The City will continue to monitor water supply conditions and provide updates as necessary. Additional information regarding specific restrictions and compliance requirements will be made available through the City's website, social media channels, and local media outlets.
