Notice of Vacancy - Mayor

The City is accepting applicants to fill a vacancy in the office of the Mayor.

Individuals interested in serving as Mayor must meet the following qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be a registered voter; and
• Have been a resident of the City for at least twelve (12) consecutive months.

Interested applicants must submit a Letter of Interest to the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Letters may be submitted by email to mgrasmick@rockyford-co.gov or delivered in person to the City Administrative Office at 203 S. Main Street, Rocky Ford, CO.

Letters of interest received by the deadline will be considered by the Rocky Ford City Council at its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
