A Message from Chief Gonzales and the Rocky Ford Fire Department -

Due to increasing fire danger and worsening drought conditions in our district, we must cancel our fireworks show this year. There will be no fireworks stand permits issued. The fire danger and lack of moisture are very serious and should not be taken lightly. Current and forecasted weather does not favor us, so please be aggressively fire-safe.

Fireworks fundraising efforts throughout the community will continue and will be used towards next year's fireworks show (weather permitting).

As always, have fun, be smart, and be safe as you celebrate this 4th of July 250th celebration with family and friends.
